Oudstryder Monument in Bismarck Street. Oudstryder or Bittereinder Memorial, The memorial was erected to commemorate the Oudstryders or "Bittereinders" of the Second Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902). A number of Boers where forced to flee South Africa and they settled in South West Africa (Namibia) |
